If you’re not in the mood for impossible missions, nuclear bombs exploding, or dolls coming to life in the real world, then consider watching Wonderwell (not to be mistaken with that Oasis song from the 90s) with your family. It’s a film all members can enjoy, especially the younger ones.

Wonderwell opens somewhere in Italy. We meet our protagonist Violet (Kiera Milward), a 12-year old girl who thinks she may be a witch. She’s baking cookies while telling us about how she wishes her family (sister, mother, and father) could be closer. Kiera wants to bake a spell of togetherness into those cookies.

Kiera needs to hurry because her older sister Savannah (Nell Tiger Free) is stressed out. Why? Because Savannah’s a model and she and dozens of other beautiful young girls want to represent/be the new face of Jana’s new clothing line.
